Let our birds nest where they want

Published 01/04/2015

I was appalled to read the article stating a government agency is supporting the manufacture of a device to prevent swallows, swifts and house martins from nesting in the eaves of houses.

These birds fly thousands of miles to nest and bring up their young in this country. Is it such a big deal to clean up a bit of dirt for the privilege of watching these beautiful birds flying overhead?
