During my morning commute into Belfast, as I was passing the long, rusting iron fence alongside Victoria Park, I saw two chaps diligently scraping down the rust and repainting.
This is a long, laborious, mind-numbing task and they are seemingly making good progress.
It struck me that we should give an opportunity to the patrons at Her Majesty's pleasure in Hydebank and Maghaberry to enjoy a few days painting. Imagine the pleasure all the commuters would derive seeing some real, meaningful community service.
