Lisburn parking fine just added to grief

Published 08/08/2014

I WAS recently in Lisburn in connection with a bereavement. We saw a place to park and pulled in.

We returned after 45 minutes to a parking ticket for £90 (£45 if paid in two weeks) – £2 for every minute. It transpired that we had unwittingly parked in a zoned area.

I will not return to Lisburn.
