Loyalist activists speak for many

I AM writing in response to Alex Kane's outrageous comments about Willie Frazer and Jamie Bryson (DebateNI, January 21).

How dare he say they should not be heard, because they have "no mandate". They live in a democratic country and thus are entitled to opinions. Mr Kane feels you are not entitled to a voice unless you are an MP, or MLA.

I'd love to know what mandate Mr Kane has to spout his opinions.

At the minute, Mr Frazer and Mr Bryson speak for me far more than any so-called "unionist" politician in Stormont does.

So much for freedom of speech, eh Alex?
