Making arms should be illegal

Over £700m of UK taxpayers' money is wasted on subsidising arms exports from the UK every year.

But far from ending subsidies to UK arms manufacturers, arms manufacturing itself should be made illegal in Britain.

Those who talk about jobs and profits to the UK Treasury need a reality check, because it's bloodthirsty Syrian rebels wielding these UK subsidised weapons and repressive states, like China and Zimbabwe, benefiting from these shortsighted exports.
