Social Development Minister Margaret Ritchie racks up court expenses of £300,000 on a case she couldn't win and walks away leaving the taxpayer to pick up the bill — which should have been paid by her party, the SDLP.
She has a fellow party member, Alban Maginness, who is a barrister and should have
shown her the error of her ways, but no, it doesn't matter, the hard pressed taxpayer will pay it, win or lose.
