Mourinho is still acting the clown

Published 22/08/2011

Jose Mourinho's behaviour at Real Madrid is becoming ever more tedious (Sport, August 19).

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has accused the self-styled 'special one' of "destroying Spanish football". Mourinho played to the galleries in England and Italy and now he is acting the clown in Spain.

In the defeat by Barcelona last week there was a huge flare-up at the end of the game with players, substitutes and staff from both sides getting stuck in.

Mourinho also had a role in the fracas as he was pictured making physical contact with Barca coach, Tito Vilanova. Vilanova responded by pushing Mourinho, who walked away grinning.

You have to wonder who he is laughing at? The joke seems to be on the ordinary Real fans, who contribute millions for his salary.

It's time he grew up.
