MP needn't panic over topless snaps

LABOUR MP Gloria de Piero has pleaded with the tabloids to "call off their hunt" for her teenage topless pictures.

Does she really believe that all the pleading and begging in the world is going to make them call off their hunt?

Scandals sell papers and, unfortunately, they will seek it out at any price – should that mean ruining a person's career, family life and reputation.

Pleading with them is not going to make the slightest bit of difference. If the tabloids get the pictures, they will publish them.

However, some very old topless pictures are hardly the end of the world and certainly shouldn't mean the end of a person's career. Keep your dignity intact and stop pleading – it will fall on deaf ears. In short: let them do their worst.
