New organ bill is just cynical party politics
It has frequently been said that the key difference between the DUP and the UUP is the DUP always puts party and their own political interests before everything else, particularly the people.
Alastair Ross's apparent wrecking bill on organ donation is just that, a cynical attempt to prevent, at all costs, a rival party from gaining any credit.
Jo-Anne Dobson has campaigned tirelessly for her organ donation bill. It clearly commands support right across Northern Ireland from all shades of opinion.
Compare that to Alastair Ross's bill, which, at best, seeks to maintain the status quo.
So why has he introduced his bill? Plain and simple, ugly DUP politics!
