NHS' DIY guide to skin cancer

SO Edwin Poots advises us to visit our GP re any changes in our skin, as he is concerned about the rising rates of skin cancer.

Well, my GP's advice was to have my husband photograph the moles on my back (digitally) and then repeat the process every three to six months and examine the before-and-after photographs.

All very scientific – we were to pop a ruler beside any large moles.
