NHS patients all out of patience

I took one of my three children to the GP. I arrived at the four-GP surgery at 8.30am and waited for the doors to open at 9am. The first GP started to see patients at 9.45am, while the other three started at 10am. After a 10-minute appointment I began my working day at 11am.

Is there really anyone who does not believe that the NHS needs a shake-up to get rid of slack practices and an assumption that a patient's time has no value?

Who believes that a GP practice that cannot even get its doctors to start work at an appropriate time could possibly commission services for its patients? I despair.
