No excuses for poor grammar

Published 21/10/2015

I ENJOYED Willie Anderson's insight into Ireland v Argentina, but it is still disappointing that a journalist cannot use the English language grammatically.

The grammar he uses in his personal life is his own concern, but this is a publication and it does matter.

The grammar in the last two paragraphs of his article should read: "... but if Nigel Owens had seen it" and "If he had gone".
