No grey areas when it comes to our border

I was alarmed to read the article headlined, 'Taoiseach Varadkar insists Republic won't design border in Ireland for Brexiteers' (News, July 29), in which a British Government spokesperson was quoted as saying: "We aim to have as frictionless a border as possible between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland."

Surely, any border, visible or otherwise, will be between the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland?
