No one has the right to kill baby

Published 13/04/2016

The indignant "war-cry" of the pro-abortion lobby that "a woman can do as she pleases with her body" is typical of any group who know that they have no valid argument.

The point is that a human foetus is no more part of the woman who carries it than an egg is part of a hen.

It is not like, for instance, a tooth, an appendix, or a tumour, which can be got rid of at will. Rather, it is a separate, unique person - a child, which no one has a right to kill, either at three weeks from conception or at three years.

An unwanted pregnancy must always be addressed with sensitivity and compassion.

But the death of the innocent child is not a legitimate solution.
