Nolan brings up tricky questions

Published 29/06/2015

BBC presenter Stephen Nolan's documentary about Down's Syndrome children and adults, and the feature related to the programme published in this newspaper (Life, June 24) is to be congratulated.

However, the show raises questions as regards Stephen Nolan's abortion position.

Considering the stance that Stephen Nolan and the BBC took with a tragic, high-profile case in 2013, in which he travelled with a woman to the UK for an abortion, I wonder would he also travel to London with a Northern Irish mother to abort her baby which had been diagnosed in the womb with Down's syndrome?
