Northern Ireland's education shambles must be tackled

NEWSPAPER reports on the education shambles beggar belief. The big parties can't agree on a new provincial management body, so that causes inefficiency, low morale and wasted taxpayers' money.
As well as that, the local bodies seem to be caught in a bureaucratic spider's web. I know of two clearly identified school needs, which were highlighted years ago.
How about getting out of this bureaucratic web? How about making a few rational, positive decisions quickly?
How about getting files off people's desks? Our default position must always be to say yes.
Why have we waited so long for someone to say that we are not effective enough in delivering the results which the taxpayer should be demanding?
