Not convinced by MP's concern

Published 24/10/2013

EVEN at this late stage of his life, I welcome the Damascus Road conversion of the East Derry DUP MP, Gregory Campbell.

Mr Campbell, under parliamentary privilege, claimed republicans had a "special committee" to deal with sex-abuse complaints and "very prominent republicans" were involved (News, October 17).

I assume that Mr Campbell has made this information available to the relevant authorities.

I am not yet convinced of Mr Campbell's concern for nationalists, republicans, or Catholics.
