Now we must have true integration
We have just marked Holocaust Memorial Day, when we remember the millions killed - and still being killed - because of religious and racial hatred.
It is inconceivable how people in a civilised country that has produced outstanding composers, writers, theologians and scientists, could have been persuaded to exterminate more than six million people. Since WWII, millions more have been killed in Russia, Cambodia, Bosnia and Africa - man's inhumanity to man.
In Northern Ireland, thousands were killed because they were of different religion, or had different political aspirations. We still live in a divided society.
It is up to us all to move to a real integrated shared society; integrated schools enable our children to work and play together.
