Order focusing on trivial issues

Published 29/03/2016

Drew Nelson and the Orange Order like to focus on the most trivial issues imaginable at a time when the civil service is facing severe cutbacks.

They claim that Mass cards and GAA memorabilia are "intimidating" to non-Catholics. What next? The survey makes reference to one or two serious incidents, which may or may not have actually happened. It looks more like an attempt by the Orange Order to justify its existence.
