Organ donation consultation results flawed

Published 28/10/2013

I WOULD like to contest the results of the consultation on presumed-consent organ donation presented by Jo-Anne Dobson MLA to the Stormont health committee (News, October 24).

Ms Dobson has no proof of her results coming solely from inside Northern Ireland, since her online survey did not ask for contact details of any sort.

It would also be possible to submit multiple entries without having to verify one's identity.

We cannot allow such badly conducted consultations to influence public policy.
