Others will use cake verdict to stir up trouble

Published 22/05/2015

In relation to the Ashers baking case, the ruling suggests that all cake shops must agree to make them with whatever slogan - no matter what it says and no matter how offensive the slogan may be to the beliefs of the owner of the cake shop.

It was the message on the cake that offended Ashers - not the people who were ordering the cake.

I can now see a lot of orders for certain cakes on July 11 - and court cases to follow.
