Painful wait for NHS jab

As a result of complications from a knee replacement operation, I need ongoing NHS care.

Having officially complained about nerve damage to my leg I received a response 65 days later.

Arrangements were made to attend for a pain-killing injection, on Tuesday, March 26 at 9am.

On Monday I got a call to tell me I would now be seen on April 9. As a student nurse, I was told consultants were Gods. Fifty years later, I almost met one.
