Paramilitaries' actions must not be ignored
WE already know the shameful catalogue of political collusion with the IRA.
Yet all we seem to hear about – as lately as Tuesday – is people suing for police collusion with loyalists, inquiries and attempts to prosecute soldiers.
Why when, at last, a British politician does speak out about the need for proportionate attention to paramilitary activity – and not just the State's – does the Belfast Telegraph choose to ignore these belated, although welcome, comments in its leading article?
