Pensioners demanding action

Published 05/05/2008

As a result of Gordon Brown's 10p income tax debacle, my Civil Service pension increase for 2008 has been turned into a net loss of income.

I appeal to senior citizens who find themselves is a similar position to take a stand and write to Ian Paisley and Martin McGuinness to demand that something be done to redress the financial injustices of reduced pensions, increased rates and soaring fuel bills being foisted on the elderly.

Don't worry about a fancy address for the envelope, just send your complaint to Paisley and McGuinness, Stormont, Belfast.
