People should have supported Alan's integrity
I HAVE just read your report about Rihanna in Bangor (Online, September 27). Following the report were comments from some of your readers, which I found to be depressing as they were almost entirely unsupportive of the farmer, Alan Graham.
Having lived away from Northern Ireland for 42 years, I feel proud that the province is in the news because someone showed moral integrity, the courage of their convictions and the strength to go against the tide of mindless descent into the abyss, where standards no longer exist and lawlessness and depravity reign.
What makes me ashamed are the comments expressed by your online readers that show a total lack of care about the ongoing moral decline and the prevailing 'anything goes' attitude.
I don't know Alan Graham or Rihanna. However, I do know whom I would more like to meet.
