Photo at the art of the issue
Tuesday, 25 November 2008
The Belfast Telegraph front page of November 19 carried a large photograph of our Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness and the First Minister Peter Robinson.
Between them, in the photo graph, hangs a large abstract painting.
The American cartoonist, Al Capp, described abstract art as ‘a product of the untalented sold by the unprincipled to the utterly bewildered’.
Oddly enough, those words reflect my attitude to the Stormont Assembly.
