Play your part in providing social housing

For more than 40 years, the housing association movement has been working throughout Northern Ireland. Housing associations have made available decent, affordable homes to all members of our community.

These are challenging times for Northern Ireland. We are in no doubt that in 2011 there will be an increase in the number of people seeking social housing.

If your resolve for 2011 is to volunteer and you are interested in a challenge, then the Northern Ireland Federation of Housing Associations (NIFHA) would like to hear from you. We want people who are interested in becoming voluntary board members for a housing association.

A housing association's board of management should represent a wide range of interests and skills. We particularly welcome expressions of interest from individuals who can demonstrate knowledge of business development, strategic development, human resources, housing management, finance, marketing or PR.

If you have any of these skills, or others which might support the work of associations, find out more by contacting NIFHA on (028) 9023 0446, or e-mail info@nifha.org
