Please join the campaign to save Lennox

I'd like to bring to your attention a dog called Lennox. On May 19, 2010, Lennox, a labrador/retriever/American bulldog mix, was seized under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 as an alleged pitbull type.

Caroline and Craig, Lennox's owners, do not fit the stereotypical 'pitbull' owners, but instead went above and beyond what is expected of responsible dog-owners, getting Lennox neutered, micro-chipped and licensed .

Lennox is also the companion of a disabled 12-year-old girl, Brooke, distraught that her best friend has been taken away from her. This good-natured, well-trained dog has been hit with the 'pitbull' label, despite the fact his parentage consists of entirely legal breeds.

More than 20,400 Facebook supporters would be grateful if your readers would join the campaign to save Lennox.
