Hundreds of Biblical prophesies have already been filled and I wrongly assumed Ciaran Mulgrew would be aware of some of them.
Let me give him a few relating to Christ. It was prophesied that Christ would be born in Bethlehem, Micah 2:5; that He would be born of a virgin, Isa 7:14; He would come riding on a donkey, Zech 9:9; that He would be sold for 30 pieces of silver Zech, 11: 10-13.
Mr Mulgrew wants to narrow down these fulfilled prophecies on a time specific basis. How extraordinary that someone who believes the universe came into existence over billions of years as a result of an infinite number of coincidences, will not accept the validity of prophecies because they lack a specific time and date.
