PM's flood effort as pathetic as his policy on asylum

Published 04/01/2016

Our great leader David Cameron has announced some paltry measures in response to the deluge of floodwater once again destroying the lives of our beleaguered citizens in the north of England.

Given the billions of pounds of our money that he freely sends in so-called "foreign aid" to corrupt and dysfunctional regimes every year, his pathetic efforts towards his own kith and kin are a mere drop in the ocean.

Instead of giving asylum to healthy young men who should be taking up arms against Isis, the RAF should use its Hercules transport planes to parachute, on pallets, these faint-hearted economic migrants back to whence they came. Cameron will also find his 70,000 moderate Syrian rebels in abundance that until now have proven as elusive as did the search for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
