Poor support to the real thing

* MPs returned from the Whitsun break this week. Tomorrow, Secretary of State Theresa Villiers (below) will take Northern Ireland Questions – the first time she has done so since March 6. Fifteen MPs are on the order paper for the 30-minute session.

Mrs Villiers may struggle to make herself heard – her turn at the dispatch box comes just before prime minister's questions, when the Commons is full and the MPs more interested in gossip than Northern Ireland.
