MIRIAM Donohoe (DebateNI, September 16) suggests Prince William's 87-year-old grandmother will die in "a few short years".
But many would, point to her 101-year-old late mother. Her 64-year-old son may have 15 more years to wait, but where does the "mounting speculation" that he will never reign come from?
Many viewing royal affairs believe he will, unless he pre-deceases his mother, rule as king.
