‘Project fear’ defines the Remain camp best

Prior to — and after — the recent Assembly election, we had a lot of politicians accusing the DUP of engaging in ‘project fear’ to gain votes.

The strange thing is that now, prior to the EU referendum, these same politicians, who were quick to accuse the DUP, are engaged in the same ‘project fear’ within the Remain camp.

It is a pity that people can’t engage in a debate based on facts; instead, they have to play on people’s fears to win support.
