PSNI letter a waste of taxpayers' money

Published 18/05/2015

So, the police have no money to do their job (News, May 13)? Why, then, did they waste a vast sum of money about one month ago sending out a letter to every home in Northern Ireland telling them of changes to boundaries, which showed us a nice colour photo of the district commanders (whatever we need to know them for I don't know; they will hardly be seen on the streets).

What a waste of taxpayers' money for paper, printing and posting.

Surely, the money could have been better spent protecting the public, rather than wasting it on stupid letters?
