Rally again|at Crescent

Published 07/11/2008

Fifty years ago this month a new youth organisation called Rally was set up in Northern Ireland.

Operating as Every Boy’s Rally and Every Girl’s Rally, the organisation aimed to promote the spiritual, educational, physical and social welfare of children and young people.

Since then, thousands of youngsters have been involved in weekly Rally programmes in church halls and schools, or

have participated in international summer camps under the ‘Rally Arura’ banner. This Saturday at 7.30 pm, there will be a special celebration and reunion at Crescent Church, University Road, Belfast, to mark the occasion. We will be delighted to welcome anyone who has ever been involved in Rally.
