RBAI supporters out of line at final

I wish to express my disgust at the behaviour of some RBAI students and supporters who crossed the pitch at the Kingspan Stadium following their team's win in the Schools' Cup final and subjected the Wallace High School supporters to a barrage of insults and obscenities.

Their behaviour was totally reprehensible and flew in the face of the long-held rugby traditions of winning with humility and losing with dignity.

When the Wallace High School supporters should have been applauding their team receiving their medals, they were faced with abusive chants and gestures.

Even more disappointing was that staff on the pitch did not intervene to stop it.
