Rail Equality (Write Back, September 4) complains that the Carrickfergus railway service is much worse than the Bangor service.

Ballymena commuters will have little sympathy.

There are 38 trains per day from Carrickfergus to Belfast but just 11 per day from Ballymena. That's real rail inequality.
