Hi °C | Lo °C I feel great today. The last couple of days of reading the newspapers and watching the news and The Late Late Show, I have learned of Deirdre Roche Doherty.
An amazing young woman who, against all odds, is alive and living a normal life, as normal can be, after what she has been through.
A victim of cystic fibrosis, a triple transplant survivor (heart, lung and kidney) and the first person to have a child after having CF and three organ transplants.
I think the least we can do, in her honour, is sign an Organ Donor Card as soon as possible so more people like Deirdre can live after we are gone.
