Replace Stormont with a call centre

Published 30/09/2015

I gather the current round of Stormont talks are now moving into week two, with nothing at all resulting from the week one discussions.

It seems we - the electorate - are treated by the Executive very much like mushrooms: kept in the dark and periodically covered in PR manure.

Do these talks not have any actual deliverables? Do they not have an endpoint, as we have in the real world of industry?

It seems Stormont does not have to work in the real world; it never works to deadlines, or delivers anything at all - it just moves the goalposts along ad nauseum.

If it continues to deliver nothing, would it not be prudent to close it down and replace it with an offshore call centre?
