Review unfair to town of Moira

Published 08/01/2016

I am writing this after reading the restaurant review of Wine & Brine in Moira (Weekend, January 2). This write-up is degrading to the people of Moira.

Firstly, Moira is not a "poor man's Hillsborough" and is not a dormitory town. There's actually two decent pubs located in the town and they are definitely worthy of note.

This new restaurant has opened with a menu that is not for normal dining. If I fancied a boiled egg on a leek I could call up to the market stall at the top of the town and purchase these from locally sourced produce and relax in my comfortable home surrounded by my family.

It takes a lot to infuriate me, and reading this succeeded in doing so.
