Road dangers are still being ignored

Published 14/09/2015

It is with great concern that I write. I have lived and worked on York/Shore Road for nearly 20 years and I am becoming increasingly worried and angry at the neglect of road safety in this area. Traffic including HGVs speed on the York Road and Shore Road, morning, noon and night.

I can only see one 30mph sign (near Greencastle) and think many more are required. I have witnessed lorries at all times of the day and night "flying" down the road. Despite several recent accidents, nothing is being done to make our roads safer. Why?
