Ryanair set to charge £1 to use toilet on flights

If this is a profit-driven idea, surely they would be better using remote control pilots and guide all their aircraft from the ground. Think of the savings they could make in wages and overnight accommodation!

This is all just free publicity for Ryanair - a gimmick...probably news feed released on April 1. It'll cost Ryanair more to change the locks than they would save in cleaning the toilets and collecting your hard-earned cash. Is it the same people who fall for this one every time, bleating that they wont ever fly with Ryanair again etc etc - they have 70 million customers a year so they must be doing something right!

Utterly outrageous. What if you have a health problem or are travelling with children? Surely this is against our human rights.

This has just confirmed my decision years ago that I would never, ever fly Ryanair was, indeed, the right one.

The best suggestion is to avoid the hardship of flying with Ryanair if they are so petty in charging people money to use the toilet. I, for one, will never fly with Ryanair as a matter of principle. It is so sad to see that the Irish are the first race of people to become so mean and greedy to collect money for this human necessity of life.

This company never fails to amaze me! Can you imagine travelling with small children? Parents will be changing nappies while sitting in their seats - what a lovely smell to permeate the cabin?

As someone not fond of flying, I avoid using the toilet as it is. I'm certainly not going to pay for the trouble. Quite frankly, I'd rather hold out until I get to the airport.

No problem as long as they accept debit or credit cards instead of coins.

Mr O'leary never misses a chance for free publicity. and that is all this is. there is no intention of ever making this a reality.

How utterly ridiculous to have to pay to answer the call of nature. If they were to remove one of the toilets in order to put in more seats just imagine the inevitable queue. What has this world come to ?.
Surely this must be a joke.
I wouldn't dream of flying with this airline ever. I'd sooner spend money for a more comfortable flight.

This headline is .... shall I say "inaccurate". Ryanair have no more intention of putting coin machines (which would have to accept both pounds and euro) in their aircraft than they have of starting flights to the moon!

Can anyone else smell the whiff of free publicity?
Ryanair - a very intelligent company.
