Saltire flyers are totally confused

WE currently face the greatest threat to the Union in living memory – "Wee fat 'Ec" (as he's referred to in Holyrood) and his SNP.

But what are our so-called 'unionist' politicians doing about it? I haven't heard a peep from anyone on this subject since the Scottish referendum was announced.

Instead, they're shouting about flags. And, if you think it's just the politicians, I'm actually seeing Scottish flags being flown in the midst of unionist flags on the streets of Belfast.

I may be missing something, but I would read the flying of the Scottish flag as an indication of support for Scottish independence.

Or, to put it another way, support for the break-up of the Union. And these people call themselves unionists?

The rules about publishing profanities prohibit me from following that last sentence with the two words that deserve to go there, so I'll replace them with another two. Wise up.
