Scandal of IMF chief's hotel bill

Published 06/07/2011

One of the most shocking revelations to come out of the Dominique Strauss-Kahn affair was the fact he was paying $3,000 (£1,860) a night for a hotel room.

This was paid for by the IMF, an international body that is financed by each country - namely us, the taxpayers.

Maybe the IMF should look to its own set-up before it preaches about financial prudence.
