Your correspondent P Coey (Write Back, January 18) perpetuates the Roman Catholic Church's ploy that it had to have its own church schools due to "Protestant" schools being the only other choice. I attended Park Parade School. I assume that students of any other faiths would have been welcomed. Wise up.
