Seize homes of fuel launderers

THE failure to impose prison sentences on those who have been caught laundering fuel and defrauding the government of millions of pounds is a mystery to the general public. What guardian angel do these gangsters have?

One sure way to stop these people is to have the property where these illegal operations are being carried out confiscated by HM Revenue and Customs.

They have the power to seize vehicles and seagoing vessels carrying contraband; the same law should apply to property.
