The amendment that would have protected society from women who can secretly kill their unborn children has been defeated by the Greens, Sinn Fein and Alliance (News, March 13). No surprise there, then.
When Sinn Fein and Alliance brought down the Union flag at Belfast's City Hall they were encouraging dissident republicans in their murder campaign, so, once the line is crossed supporting targeted killing, the unborn, the elderly? Why not?
Who do you think gets the dissidents' votes?
They're not card-carrying DUP members are they?
It seems, by the result of the Mid Ulster by-election, that the majority of peace-loving Shinners don't mind being in bed with dissident republicans who kill the security forces.
Long live the peace process.
