Sinn Fein’s Trojan horse

The present state of the Northern Ireland Assembly is simply due to the declared aim of Sinn Fein/IRA to bring the state of Northern Ireland to its knees.

They tried this for over 30 years by bomb and bullet and failed, from the outside, to accomplish their objective.

Now, like the strategy of the wooden horse of Troy, they are doing it from the inside.

That is why their volunteers have been told to bide their time and wait for the whole political structure to collapse in ruins.

One has only to look at the road blocks they have established — such as the blockage in education by Ms Ruane, their Education Minister, which affects every child and family in Ulster.

There is also their adamant refusal to move on any relevant business in the Executive unless police and justice is dealt with on their terms.

Can one imagine the likes of Gerry Kelly, an unrepentant terrorist, given the portfolio of justice minister? Heaven forbid it.

Even if these difficulties could be overcome, further roadblocks would be erected. Sinn Fein/IRA has no intention of allowing Northern Ireland to exist under British Rule.

Some people cry for Stormont to close down. This is sweet music to the ears of Mr Adams and co. The Governments of Britain, the Republic and the United States have simply been conned.
