State collusion not one-sided

Those clamouring for public inquiries should note that state collusion was not one-sided (News, December 13).

An ongoing inquiry in Dublin has exposed the fact that southern Irish security forces trashed the crime scene connected to the Warrenpoint massacre, and the then Irish taoiseach ordered no co-operation with the RUC in bringing the murderers to justice.

I had two comrades slaughtered at Warrenpoint. To date, no one has been held accountable for their cowardly slaughter from the safe sanctuary of the Republic.
