Stealing from the taxpayer

In the last year, more than 2,000 laptops, 422 Blackberries and more than 400 computers have all disappeared from government departments in Britain.

Maybe the departments here could inform the electorate how many pieces of similar equipment have 'walked out' of Stormont?

If this sort of behaviour went on in private business, it wouldn't be long until police were called. No firm could stand these losses.

Still, our MPs and MLAs have a bottomless pit of money that keeps getting filled by the hard-pressed taxpayer. I'd like to wish these thieves a happy New Year, but the words won't come out.
